The Nam-Tso Lake trek
starts from Lhasa to the famous salt
lake "Nam-Tso" in Tibet . It is situated
190 km north of Lhasa. Nam-Tso Lake is
the sanctuary of many species of
migrating birds and other local birds.
Nam Tso lake is the second largest salt
lake in Tibet . Nam-Tso lake trek
follows across the Nyenclien Thangla
Mountains to pebbled shores of holy Nam-Tso
Lake that takes 6 to 7 days. The main
attractions of Nam-Tso Lake trekking are
Nomad life, Monasteries, the holy salt
lake, Nam-Tso excursion, walking and
camping on Tibet , Lhasa tour, some high
passes like Largen-la.
Itinerary:
Day 01:
Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to
hotel.
Day 02: Full day sightseeing.
Day 03: Fly to Gonggar Airport and drive
to Lhasa O/N hotel
Day 04: Lhasa
Day 05: Lhasa
Day 06: Namtso (4718m)
Day 07: Yangpachen (4250m)
Day 08: Trek Dorje Ling (4300m)
Day 09: Trek Bartso
Day 10: Cross Lhasar-La (5300m) -
trek to Leten
Day 11: Trek to Tsurphu (4480m)
Day 12: Drive to Lhasa
Day 13: Fly back to Kathmandu
Day 14: Departure.
