This Trek, a combination
of the Gokyo Lake and the Everest Base
Camp with chola pass is a perfect example of a high
altitude alpine trek. Ascending to the
stunning Gokyo Valley, one has to go a
long Ngozumpa Glacier then
climbing to the Gokyo Ri you can
have a fabulous view of
Everest, Makalu, Cho-Oyu, Lhotse,Nuptse,
Ama-dublam and other numerous high
peaks. Many Trekkers assume that
Gokyo-Ri is the best view point of the
high Himalayan peaks.
